After much thought and discussion, with great reluctance I will be shutting down the 2 Chevauleger as a living history group and heading in a new direction. It’s not an easy decision to make but we simply do not have the numbers to sustain a viable unit within the Great War Historical Society (GWHS) and after three years of struggle, it’s time to call it quits. It’s unfortunate, but it happens.
I will continue to maintain this blog as a repository of information in regard to all matters Chevaulager and German Cavalry and living history in general but as a living history group in it’s own right, no. However, I will continue to portray the 2 Chevauleger for special events and maybe we’ll be putting in an appearance at the GWHS East Front Event in December. 🙂
So I will still continue on here so stay tuned for more developments in the future.
