I am recovering from a weekend at the Old Ft. MacArthur Days event at Ft. MacArthur in San Pedro, California. Unfortunately, due to nobody else being available, I did not attend as a Chevauleger but instead went as an American officer to help out another group.
The weather was beautiful- mostly cool and crisp with no fog or gloomy weather. Unfortunately, I wound up getting sunburned but I still had a good time. 🙂
Looking forward, it’s time to start planning for the Fall 2015 battle event and hopefully we’ll be able to get the troops rallied and motivated.
