Officer Tunic – 1914

Leutnant1Unfortunately, there are no other views but it still gives a good idea of what was being worn by the officers. The only real difference between the enlisted and officer version, based on this picture, would be the shoulder boards and the high collar. This would have been the standard tunic for officers at the start of the war in 1914. This style lingered on throughout the war even with the new uniform regulations that were released in 1916.
